T.R. Catanzarite was born and raised in Massena, NY. He earned an M.S.W. and has a career as a social worker / counselor in Rhode Island. He has written literary works in various genres during his professional life, and now is publishing them.

While he prefers to reside in Rhode Island because of proximity to the sea, to Narragansett Bay, to Newport and because of the temperate climate and quality of life, T.R. Catanzarite visits his hometown for family, community and for the vistas of the St. Lawrence River.

T. R. Catanzarite is an independent writer. He is not beholden to special interests of any description. He has always striven for personal excellence in life, in his profession and in literature.
